This development site is located in Playa Vista, a Los Angeles beachside area situated 2 miles north of Los Angeles International Airport and, together with Venice and Santa Monica to the north, comprise ‘Silicon Beach’. Many of the hi-tech giants including Google, YouTube, Microsoft, Yahoo and SnapChat have their Southern California headquarters in Silicon Beach.
This development site allows for the development of a variety of entitled uses including apartments, offices, condominiums or hotel. Currently, the project is designed and permitted for a 7-story apartment building consisting of 109 dwelling units built on top of a 4-story garage. Alternatively, this site is also approved for an 18-story high-rise construction – affording views to the Pacific Ocean and Downtown LA.
