The regional headquarters for the Industrial and Commercial Bank of China occupies Shanghai's first green tower and is one of the first new buildings constructed in Shanghai's Pudong District, a major economic development zone across the Huangpu River from the historic city center. Two slabs comprise the 28-story office tower and a seven-story tower base houses a public banking hall, meeting rooms, vault space and a stock processing center.
